The Supreme Court declared that sex offenders can be held indefinitely, even after their sentence is complete if they are considered dangerous — unless they won an Oscar or they have a lot of friends that are celebrities.

West Hollywood, California (January 28, 2010) Live Nation, Inc. and Ticketmaster Entertainment, Inc. announced Monday that they cleared the regulatory hurdles placed before their merger by the Federal government’s anti-trust investigation and shareholders, consummating their partnership.Immediately, the merged entity will bear the name Live Nation Entertainment, Inc.The effect on West Hollywood’s city coffers stands unclear, as Ticketmaster was WeHo’s largest employer and one of its largest tax-payers.
