We reported back in February that Shawn Levy will direct Fantastic Voyage, a 3D adventure which will also be produced by James Cameron Jon Landau, Rae Sanchini, and VRN’s Carlo Capomazza. Laeta Kalogridis (Avatar, Shutter Island) wrote the screenplay for the remake along with Shane Salerno. The original Fantastic Voyage was released in 1966 and starred Stephen Boyd, Raquel Welch, and Donald Pleasence.

Supervisors will present Ayers, 59, with a scroll in recognition of his upcoming trip to represent Los Angeles County and people with mental illness at a White House celebration of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The celebration marks the 20th anniversary of the landmark legislation that ensures equality for disabled Americans.
