Op-ed by Carleton Cronin , West Hollywood, California (June 24, 2010) This time I am content to watch from the sidelines. The City Council feels the city needs to found a charter school. I imagine that the impulse was a way of looking to the future in recognition of the increasing number of children in the city. I also believe that the Council sees it as a means of revenue � as it seems lately to view every enterprise. However, I have some words of advice about chartering a school - especially in the LAUSD.
