SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON POWER OUTAGES

Time: 11:30 pm – 6:30 am
Location:  8400 block of Sunset Blvd.

On Tuesday, April 20, 2010, there will be an outage to 15 specific customers in the 8700 block of Sunset Blvd. Those who are affected should have already received their door hanger notification that was hand delivered last week. It included instructions on how to prepare. For the rest of the area, there will be no power interruption. This is rescheduled work for the original outage that should have occurred on April 6, 2010. This work is to upgrade existing facilities. Planned outage number #391098.

TUESDAYS, WEDNESDAYS, & THURSDAYS
April 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, & 29, 2010
Time: 9:00 pm - 6:00 am night work.
Location:  6 vaults on Sunset Blvd. between Alta Loma Rd. and Olive Dr.

Southern California Edison will be replacing cable and switches in existing vaults on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays nights. This work involves replacing cable going from vault to vault, using existing conduits in the ground. There is no construction associated with their cable and switch replacements. For all but one day there will be no outages associated with this work.

On Thursday, April 22, 2010, there will be an outage to 65 specific customers in the 8500 block of Sunset Blvd. Those who are affected should have already received their notification in the mail, with instructions on how to prepare. For the rest of the area, there will be no power interruption.

Southern California Edison’s Cable and Switch Replacement Program, allows for SCE to replace aging infrastructure and ultimately provide reliable and efficient service to its customers. Planned outage number #395902.
