Newly declassified docs show Margaret Thatcher as a woman with "high standards, a short temper and a taste for whiskey."  I grew up hearing her name in Pink Floyd songs and reading about her verve, vigor and virtue. Boy did I like to see her live via Satellite TV, late at night of course here in the States as she locked horns with her MP colleagues "the right honorable gentlemen" in the House of Commons.
