A Trillion Words
Posted on September 11th, 2009 by Carlo Capomazza
Some of the World's best and brightest lost their lives innocently eight years ago in a senseless tragedy for a cause that still gets accolades when old unrepentant terrorists return home to die in Libya, ironically out of the mercy of a democratic government which such terrorists seek to undermine. A cause that calls for the death of Our way of life, of Our liberty and of Our happiness. While all our problems are complex, the death of inocents is not an answer.
Our hearts still go out to the families and friends of the multinational victims. We look forward to what will ultimately rise from the ashes as we remember where we were that fateful day when we heard the news after the second plane struck that it was no accident. God bless the dream that is America.
"Despite Obama's warnings that Libya should not give Megrahi a hero's welcome, thousands of young men were on hand at the military airport in Tripoli where his plane landed. As he disembarked, cheering supporters, some wearing T-shirts bearing his picture, threw flower petals in the air and waved Libyan and miniature Scottish flags, while Libyan songs played in the background."
